“Open Bethlehem” Showing Dec. 9th

Baltimore Palestine Solidarity is hosting Film Series. On December 9th, they are showing “Open Bethlehem“.

The film follows Palestinian director Leila Sansour’s extraordinary journey to the legendary city of Bethlehem, the place where she grew up. Armed with a camera and a family car that keeps breaking down, she sets out to make an intimate portrait of a historical town in peril. Ten years on, with 700 hours of footage, the result is nothing like she had expected.
Showing at  Homewood Friends (3107 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21218) on December 9th.  Doors open at 6 p.m. and film will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.

  • Suggested contribution $5. No one will be turned away
  • Accessibility: Parking is free after 7pm on 3000 St. Paul, 31st St., 32nd St. and the side street in front of Friends. It is free after 8pm on 3000/3100 Charles. Buses 003, 011, 061 and Purple all stop at 31st and Charles St. Ramp and elevator accessibility are available.
