UB NLG Hosts “Change Maker Social Justice Awards” – April 13 at 6pm

From UB NLG President Aneesa Khan:

UB NLG came into existence in March 2016 when law school students who actively legal observed during Baltimore Uprising realized that the Baltimore community was in need of a student chapter.  Since our inception, our student organization has grown to over 60 members, with about 20 members who actively legal observe during demonstrations. In celebration of our chapter’s first full year, and the NLG’s 80th Anniversary, we are hoping you can join us on April 13, 2017 for the NLG 80th Anniversary and Change Maker Social Justice Awards Ceremony.  We host this event as a thank you to the local organizations who mentored and supported us through our inception, and as we continue to grow.

Event details: April 13, 2017 – 6pm, UB Law 1420 N. Charles Street.
