Showing of the Film “The Reluctant Radical” Kicks Off Climate Strike Week in Baltimore

As the consequences of global heating become increasingly apparent, more and more people across the planet are facing criminal charges and repression for taking actions to change the ecologically insane trajectory we are on, particularly with regard to consumption of fossil fuels.  Ken Ward, who is the subject of the documentary film the Reluctant Radical, is one such person.

The Reluctant Radical was shown at the National Lawyers Guild convention in Portland, Oregon in 2018, with Ken Ward and filmmaker Lindsey Grayzel in attendance.  Through a Maryland National Lawyers Guild connection and Our Revolution Baltimore, the movie was shown at Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood campus on September 19, 2019, as a prelude to the global climate strike week in Baltimore.

More information about the movie and how to arrange low-cost community screenings is available at http://www.thereluctantradicalmovie.com
